Walking is a very good and safe exercise, and can be a great cardiovascular work out in colder temperatures. But whether there is a nice layer of snow on the ground or the sun is shining, walking will help you lose weight gained over the holidays.

Next time you go to let your dog out to do their ‘business’, why not grab their leash and take them for a walk around the block, or down a few blocks. Fido will love you for it and you will be making yourself  healthier by doing it,  as well as losing a little weight.
